Install or Update Instructions

Step Action
First Time Install

Harvester Payroll Software can only be installed when SQL Server 2019 Express and Crystal Reports are installed on your PC.

Before you start: Enable .NET Framework 3.5

Harvester Offline requires .NET Framework 3.5 to be enabled on your Windows computer.

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Go to Programs.
  3. Click Turn Windows features on or off.
  4. Tick .NET Framework 3.5 includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0.
  5. Click OK.

If Windows asks to download files from Windows Update, choose that option and allow it to finish. This may take several minutes. Restart the computer if Windows asks you to.

Install SQL Server 2019 Express

Download and install SQL Server 2019 Express before installing Harvester Offline.

NB: Choose the Basic install option.

Download SQL Server 2019 Express
Setup file: SQL2019-SSEI-Expr

Download Harvester Setup Files

After enabling .NET Framework 3.5 and installing SQL Server 2019 Express, download and install the remaining Harvester setup files below.

Already Installed?

If you already have Harvester installed, download the latest update below.

Download Harvester Update (ZIP)

Update Steps

  1. Download and extract the ZIP file.
  2. Open the extracted folder.
  3. Double-click UpdateHarvester.bat and click Yes if Windows asks for permission.

The update will install automatically.
