NHIMA upload prefix option and direct CSV export

be exported without the letters NHIS.
Keep “Does NHIS precede Health No?” selected when the prefix is required.
Clear the option when the employer number must be exported as digits only.
Export the NHIMA file as CSV and avoid unnecessary re-saving that can alter member numbers.
When an upload is rejected, first compare the employer number and required file format
with the current instructions shown in the employer’s NHIMA account.
Zambia PAYE bands for 2026
The Zambia Revenue Authority’s 2026 PAYE calculator displays the following monthly bands:
Harvester’s standard NHIMA payroll configuration uses an employee contribution and
matching employer contribution calculated from basic pay.
The National Health Insurance Act requires employers to pay the employer and employee
contribution at the prescribed percentage. The detailed rate and contribution basis are
set through the applicable regulations and current NHIMA administration.
Confirm the current contribution treatment and filing instructions with NHIMA before submission,
particularly where an employer has unusual allowances or remuneration arrangements.
Employee ID information report
The Employee ID information report brings key employee identifiers into one place,
including supported NAPSA, NHIMA, TPIN, mobile, birth-date and bank fields.
Payroll administrators can use the report to identify missing information and export
the results to Excel.
Updated cash-denomination report
Harvester’s cash-denomination report supports wage-packet preparation using current
configured Kwacha denomination values. Employers should check the report before
withdrawing or packing cash wages.
