Employee Engagement Date in Harvester Payroll

Harvester includes a separate Engagement Date field for each employee. WHERE DO I ENTER IT? Go to Add Employee or Edit Employee and enter the employee's Engagement Date in the Engagement Date field. The Engagement Date is stored separately from the normal Start Date and End Date. It does not replace the Start Date used for contract information. At present, enter or change the Engagement Date through the normal Add Employee or Edit Employee page rather than the batch employee table-edit or employee import process. WHERE DOES ENGAGEMENT DATE SHOW? The Engagement Date is included in the Employee Personal Details report on screen and in the printable version. It is also included in the Personal Details Excel export. The Engagement Date is shown on the Employee ID Card report and on the Employee ID Card Excel/print version. On the ID card it appears beside the employee's Job Position when a date has been entered. If the Engagement Date is blank, the ID card does not show an Engagement Date value. The Engagement Date is an employee information/reporting field and does not appear on the normal payroll payslip.
