Connect Harvester AI Reporting | Setup and Permissions

Connect Harvester AI Reporting from your authorised payroll account, then verify the company before asking for payroll figures. BEFORE CONNECTING Ask Harvester support to enable AI Reporting for the correct user and company. The current connection requires a level-5 account and a valid individual AI Reporting licence. Use an AI provider account approved by your organisation for confidential payroll information. Loan transactions need an extra permission. CONNECT AND VERIFY 1. Sign in to your own Harvester company and open AI Reporting. 2. Select Connection instructions to open the Harvester connections page. Follow the instructions shown there for your chosen compatible AI assistant. Provider menus and plan availability may change. 3. Complete the Harvester sign-in and authorisation screen. Do not paste a payroll password or connection token into an AI conversation. 4. Select the Harvester Payroll connection in your AI conversation. 5. Ask: "Using Harvester Payroll, confirm my connected company name, company ID, read-only access and API version." 6. Check that the company is correct. Then request a small report for a month you know, and compare it with the matching Harvester report and filters. The account authorisation determines the company. Changing the company name in a question does not authorise a different payroll. Contact support if the connection is linked to the wrong account. MANAGE ACCESS AND DISCONNECT Open Manage connections from Harvester AI Reporting to revoke an existing authorisation. An administrator can also disable or expire the user's AI Reporting licence. You can remove the connection from your AI provider account as well. Revoking access prevents future authorised requests; it does not erase figures already included in saved conversations or downloaded files. IF A REPORT IS MISSING OR DOES NOT MATCH - Check company, year, month, exact period versus all periods, department and any employee filters. - Confirm that the relevant payroll has been processed and retained. - Ask the assistant to retrieve every page and distinguish page totals from whole-result totals. - If a newly added report is not offered, check the connection's current tool options. The server version and the options exposed in an existing chat may differ. Follow your provider's connection-management guidance or contact Harvester support rather than treating the missing option as missing payroll. - For rounding differences, compare the current company rounding increment with the one used when that payroll was processed. - For access errors, check the user licence, expiry and permissions with Harvester support.
